Derrick (Dee) has been with Precision Garage Doors, Inc. for many years. He began as a helper, then moved up to technician. He was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Maryland. Dee currently lives in Laurel, MD. He enjoys spending time with wife and children. The most important thing to Dee is being a daddy and spending time with his family. Precision did a fantastic job!!! Derrick arrived as scheduled, did a great job, and took the time to educate my wife and I to be able to maintain and extend the life of my garage door hardware. It will be an easy decision should I need their services again.

In April of 2018, I had a new garage door installed by Precision and they did a wonderful job!! Very happy!! In March of 2019 my wife backed into the door and damaged it. The tracks were not damaged but the door was done. I called Precision and they came out, gave me an estimate and a time frame and got the repair done. I would give this work 5 stars, but a week or two after the repair, I realized that the installer did not reattach my inside lock for the door. It isn't a big deal and I was able to do it myself. Just the same, it would have been nice if the job was 100% completed when the bill was paid. I would certainly recommend Precision.

If the service continues to be as great as it was today and during my previous visit, I will definitely continue to use and recommend Precision. Derrick did the work today and was excellent at installing the opener and explaining to me how to use the new features that were not on my previous opener. Both techs from Precision (this visit and in the past) were terrific. I wholeheartedly recommend Precision to anyone needing work with a garage door.

I feel they not only did the required work, they went above and beyond the minimum to enhance the final result and leave a lasting positive impression. Previously had used another company of “fast talking shills” who did a minimum repair but a major price scam. Precision was total opposite - excellent work repair experience with a special noteworthy performance by service rep Derek (spelling?).

Amazing service from the moment I sent an email at 9:37 pm on a Saturday and got a response within 10 minutes to the moment Derrick came out to my house to replace a broken spring above the garage door. I am thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this company. They demonstrated excellent communications skills (huge on my list), offer prices that are extremely competitive (maybe even the best), and operate a professional staff of technicians (assuming all are as top-notch as Derrick). But that's not all. Derrick noticed the garage door had a slight crack along the top edge and dead center when he completed the job and was testing the operation of the spring. He immediately placed an 8' section of angle iron across the top of the door and it now opens smoother and seals tighter than it has in a long time. Great attention to detail, great customer service. Precision Overhead Garage Door Service has earned my business and loyalty.
