Meeting was scheduled for 2-4pm Saturday but the call saying your representative would be late came after 5pm and I was unable to attend a memorial service that afternoon for an old friend The price for what I needed was significantly higher than one quoted to me by a company that scheduled an appointment at 11am that morning. The representative arrived on time, determined what was needed and said installation could be done on Monday. My decision to go with the first quote was simple

I came across the website for Precision while looking for another company. When I called to make an appointment, the young lady that answered the phone was very professional and provided all the information that I need to make a decision. The technician (Garry) called as requested and arrived as promised. He did an excellent job and pointed out some simple maintenance tasks that would extend the life of my door. Derrick was outstanding!! I'm so glad it was him that came out. If I ever need service again, there is no question I'm asking for him. He was friendly, explained things very clearly, and spent time to make sure I understood what he was doing. I was disappointed with the tech that came out the first time as he came and went within less than 10 minutes, and didn't do half of what Derrick did. Because he had not done a thorough job that is why I needed a second visit. Derrick really took the time to look at the problem and then make recommendations for fixing it. Thank you Derrick!

You charged me $50 after your technicians came out, looked at the spring setup, talked to their manager, who reportedly said good luck finding someone who can work on this. I have sent e-mails with pictures to two other area garage door repair businesses who say that replacing this spring should not be a problem. You then e-mail me, having the gall to thank me for my business and giving you the "opportunity" to service my door. While to an extent I appreciate Mike trying to give me options, I'm still ticked that (1) other businesses can replace my garage door and (2) there should be able to provide a comprise between doing nothing and selling me on a new garage door and system.

Precision provided the solution to my garage door issue. The spring for the door broke in half, trapping my car. From making the appointment to the arrival of the technician assigned, everyone at Precision was very professional. Would have rated them a 5 had they come out the same day. Mike C replaced the spring in no more than 30 minutes and our car was freed. Would recommend Precision for sure!!

I chose Precision door after searching on the internet. I scheduled the first weekend appointment available. The technician came to my house and then said he couldn't repair it because it wasn't a liftmaster. I went back and looked at the website and it said that they repaired ALL major brands including the brand of my opener. After calling the person at the center said they should be able to service all brands. She contacted the technician who said they could not repair it because of the brand. The technician never even looked at the brand which is expressly listed on the website as one that they do not repair. The technician lied, the company wasted my time and my garage door is not repaired.

Derrick was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The problems and options were described to me clearly. The work was done quickly and to a high degree of quality. After the work was complete, the repairs were shown and explained to me, and the clean up was great. The only negative was that I felt that the service was largely overpriced (this is based on other online offers I have since seen for similar services).

Precision Garage Doors is the best! In May 2012, Derrick came out and tuned up my garage door. He found a stripped coupling and replaced it. Recently, the door opener stopped working again. Within 24 hrs of calling for an appointment, Derrick was back out. When he found the coupling had stripped again, he replaced it at no charge. On both visits, Derrick was very pleasant and professional. Not only will I use them for any further work, but I will recommend them to all my friends.
