The Tech Derrick was outstanding!!! I continue to be a customer for 15 year because of the Tech Service. Derrick was knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful. I would give this a 5 star except for the interaction with their call service. The call person was OK....about a 4. I called and hour later as she said I would get an email or text confirmation about my appt which I did not. She indicated that they were having some issues with the new S/W Transition and reconfirmed my appt. time. I tried to call 4 hours later after I realized that the issue was the need for a back up battery and to ensure that the Tech was aware of this and came with one. Instead I got a rude computer aided message saying " we have addressed your questions about your forthcoming appt. ...Have a good day" . This is NOT in sync. With my experience with this franchise and can only hope it is another computer glitch!!! "The Tindalls": Please fix this as the message prompted to consider moving to another service. I think the Tech Service was outstanding, but the client facing front does truly matter!!

Once decision was made and the device selected he went to work and completed task in a professional fashion. Strangely, our garage door was opening all by itself, without us using our remote or key pad. This happened several times over a two-day period. We tried deleting the code and reentering a code but that didn't resolve the problem. We contacted Precision and a their very nice and knowledgeable technician, Derrick, was on the scene in a matter of hours. He performed a reboot which seemed to work. But moments later, a close neighbor drove by. To our surprise, our garage door once again seemingly opened all by itself. The mystery started to be solved when Derrick asked us to check with the neighbor who had just opened her garage door. It turned out that our neighbor's car was in the shop for repair and she was given a "loaner" that had a remote. When she used her remote to open her garage door, she unwittingly opened ours as well. Mystery solved. Derrick reset our garage door opener so as to block the interference. Thanks goes again to "detective" Derrick.

I contacted Precision Garage Door late in the afternoon when my door broke and they had me scheduled for 1st thing the next morning. They provided me the name and picture of the tech who was coming. The tech called and said he was on his way and when he got here he reviewed the situation and gave me an estimate of the repair costs after he explained when was wrong and how he was going to fix it. I also asked the cost of a new door opener and he explained the various types available and the differences as well as cost. I had a new opener installed and when all was said and done the cost was what was quoted to me at the outset of the work with no hidden cost or added sales pressure to buy more. I appreciated the professionalism of their organization from the time they answered the phone to the complete service work.

We were in a pickle, the garage door motor was acting up and we settled on the house the next day. We called and got scheduled immediately. Derrick just left our house and did an amazing job servicing our double garage doors!! We spent hours trying to do it on our own, it Derrick took little time in quickly identifying the issue and fixing it. He reset our passcodes on the doors, and fixed the sensors. He even went above and beyond by replacing a 5 year old latch that we didn’t even speak of and also greased the tracks. We had infinity garage door company come out a few weeks ago and they tried to scam us, so we appreciate precision garage door company for having such a great technician. Thanks!
