Elijah Bowman immediately noticed why our one door wasn't opening/closing correctly. He readjusted the coil mechanism so the disc that the tension wire runs through it but the tension wasn't right to it flapped and hit the ceiling. He adjusted it to make it more easily operate. He was on time and the email appointment confirmation and advance notification of his arrival were helpful. We asked for Elijah because he did the initial work and is an expert at his craft.

Technician showed up on time & did an efficient job of replaced two door sweeps, replaced all rollers, added a cable through the spring to meet code to prevent springs snapping loose to cause ijnjury or damage a vehicle for two doors & replaced the two doors pulleys. This review tool doesn't allow me to show the number of different parts he replaced so I picked rollers only, but as you read, you understand he did more. He was very neat about his work area and cleaned up before leaving. Highly recommend this tech and Precision Garage Door Service of Baltimore.

Precision Door Service was called Tuesday, December 24 with a call that we were unable to open our garage door. Precision informed me that the earliest appointment they had was Thursday, December 26 from 10:30 - 1:30. I took that appointment but proceeded to call two other garage services and wasn't able to get anything earlier than Friday, December 27. Elijah Bowman came around 10:00 and explained the difference between a repair to an old wooden garage door and a new aluminum door. He had information on our door options and explained the different varieties and costs and we selected our new garage door. We were unable to lift our old wooded garage door to get my car out of the garage to go to Western Maryland but Elijah told us he would make some phone calls to see if he could get extra help. Within 30 minutes 3 other employees came to help and we were able to continue out Christmas visits. Thank You Elijah and Precision!

Tyler showed up on time and was pleasant and competent at figuring out the problem and explaining the options. I went for 'fix everything that needs fixing' rather than the band-aid. He was finished in 2 1/2 hours and the door now works perfectly.

Technician was terrific. Job was done well and in a timely fashion. However the payment process was unacceptable. I always like to use my USAA credit card for jobs like this. Due to an already known billing problem my card was denied. I don’t like inconveniences such as this. Especially when a reputable company such as yours should be able to resolve the matter. USAA card holders are largely represented in the Baltimore/DC metro. Many of whom are probably just as frustrated with a denied card. I hope this company fixes this irritating problem soon. So next time a better review shall be given from a person like me.

We had a broken cable on one of our garage doors, but the whole lift system was jerry-rigged and out of date. Precision responded to my request for a bid within 10 minutes, they were at my house (on Saturday of a holiday weekend) within 2 hours, and they provided a fair estimate and completed the work I requested - replacing the springs and cables on both doors, and installing new, belt-drive lifts on both doors, within a few hours. Their technicial - Keith C. - was knoweldgable, prompt and courteous. We are so happy with our new garage lift system!

The Spring on my garage door broke causing the door off track at 5pm. I called Precision and they were willing to send someone out that night. I opted to wait till the morning and they were there on time, walked me through what was broken, fixed it, and showed me what I should be looking for moving forward. The tech, Olaniyi, was extremely polite and professional and I will definitely call Precision again if the need ever arises. Top quality company with top quality services!
