Precision Door Service was called Tuesday, December 24 with a call that we were unable to open our garage door. Precision informed me that the earliest appointment they had was Thursday, December 26 from 10:30 - 1:30. I took that appointment but proceeded to call two other garage services and wasn't able to get anything earlier than Friday, December 27. Elijah Bowman came around 10:00 and explained the difference between a repair to an old wooden garage door and a new aluminum door. He had information on our door options and explained the different varieties and costs and we selected our new garage door. We were unable to lift our old wooded garage door to get my car out of the garage to go to Western Maryland but Elijah told us he would make some phone calls to see if he could get extra help. Within 30 minutes 3 other employees came to help and we were able to continue out Christmas visits. Thank You Elijah and Precision!

It was very expensive. I wish I could have replaced it myself, but since it is the holidays, it is snowing outside, and I don't have the time, I paid $965 for this company to fix it with a 90-day warranty. I don't have funds to for the $1400 plan which is to replace the wheels, 1 year warranty, etc. Unfortunately, when you overcharge, you will not get repeat business or recommendations from neighbors. The springs are springs and wheels don't line up like the original but the tech said it is fine. As long as it keeps working, I am fine. Shawn 11/22/24

Great service, Technician was very courageous throughout the installation and explained all aspects of this installation . Was early on the projected arrival time. Got right to work on the installation and completed in what I considered a good time. Really nice young man, very respectful and explained everything he was doing prior to the installation. He is a keeper!!

My service technician, Elijah Bowman, was excellent! Listened to me explain the problem, had experience with the type of problem I had, and as a result was able to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose the problem and offer two possible solutions, repair or replace my Liftmaster unit. I chose to replace, and he was prepared by having the replacement unit I needed on his truck. Elijah made short work of the repair and gave me a complete explanation of the operation of the unit and all the back-up and spare parts that he left me with. I really appreciated his professionalism!
