Strongly recommend this company. I got an email confirming my appointment time, the email included a pic of the technician. Technician called 20 minutes prior to his arrival. Technician inspected all the garage components and recommended what needed to be done. After installing several new parts the technician took his time and showed me everything he did and showed me how to operate everything. My old unit was 23 years and had never been serviced.

We have used Precision Door for many years and were happy with them. Apparently, it is now under new ownership. We called the tech to do maintenance as the garage door occasionally has been sticking or making excessive noise. The tech came out today, showed up on time, found the door needed new wheels and lubrication. He was very professional and efficient, clearly explaining what was needed (to my husband). We have only good things to say about the tech; however, we are very unhappy about the cost. We estimate the parts he needed were about $10-20 and he was out in about 30 minutes. We expected that should cost no more than about $150 but it was twice that! $300 for 30 minutes were is definitely excessive. We will be looking for other options next time :-(

Absolutely excellent service. I had a very unusual situation. A snake unfortunately decided to make a terrible mistake by enmeshing itself around the rails of our garage door. This caused our door to jam up. I chose Precision because they were easy to schedule online. Our technician was prompt, very knowledgeable and experienced and was able to deal with the problem and get the garage working once again. In addition, he also helped to diagnose and ultimately repair a lot of age-related issues that I had wanted to take care of even before I had the problem with the door jamming. The price quoted was VERY reasonable and the work was done during the same visit. He didn’t try to upsell me on a bunch of things I didn’t need and he didn’t pull any BS. I purchased a lot more than just springs, I had practically every moving part of the door fixed, lubricated or replaced outright. The technician also reinforced the top part of the door so that the connection to the opener would last longer. Would definitely recommend.

We needed an emergency garage repair because our garage door began to open on its own at unpredictable times, even during the night. Precision Garage Repair Service sent technician Josey to our house the very next day to troubleshoot the issue. Josey quickly diagnosed the problem, and thoroughly explained three options for correcting it to me and my husband. Josey was very patient, respectful, and courteous in answering my many questions and clarifying the possible solutions. He did not pressure us into buying a new opener. However, we decided that it was time to update to a new Liftmaster 3.0 unit in order to essentially eliminate the possibility of further outside interfere. Josey worked competently and quickly to install the new unit. It was a genuine pleasure to work with a technician like Josey. We will definitely use Precision Garage Repair Service again in the future.

I had a new garage door opener and torque tube installed less than 2 years ago. I was concerned because the garage door opening was a bit noisier than usual and I wanted to be sure it was normal aging or if any adjustments might be required. Upon arrival, Jared listened to my comments, tested the door several times and lubricated all of the mechanical joints. He said that all should be OK. Jared answered all of my questions about door operation and capabilities. I was impressed at the thoroughness of operation by Precision Garage Door Service. After calling for service, I was notified by both Email and Text Message about my appointment time and the name of the technician. For safety reasons, I was notified that the technician would arrive in a marked vehicle, wear a uniform, and would match the name and photo provided in the messages. Jared notified me by email that he was on the way and his estimated time of arrival. I was also able to track his travel progress on a Google Map link Jared provided in his email. He arrived precisely on time. Best of all, because my new system was still under warranty, there was no service charge. Excellent company and outstanding service!!!!

Our garage door was having issues closing so we had Precision come out to diagnose it. The technician was very friendly and professional. We were very unhappy though that we weren't told in advance what work would be performed so that we could have decided on whether or not to do it ourselves. All he did was spray lubricant on the rail and spring and charged $40 after the fact. I would have been perfectly fine doing that myself and only paying the $60 service fee. I felt taken advantage of. As a courtesy, I called and left my feedback. They said they would pass it on to a manager but I never heard back from anyone. We definitely won't be using this company again.

Years ago, I previously used Precision to replace a broken door spring. They responded at a reasonable amount of time and that work was performed in a professional and satisfactory manner. This time, when my door spring broke, Precision responded just like last time. Elijah, the friendly technician, completed the job as expected. He also pointed out a hidden bad bearing problem, along with the broken spring. He replaced two bad bearings and installed 2 new springs. Again, all done in a proficient and satisfactory manner.

Your technician was great and met all my needs. The fact that LIFTMASTER has discontinued support on my WLED head unit 5 years after installation and cannot fix something as simple as an overhead LED light not working has turned me off on your product.
