Jay was fantastic!! The entire experience with Precision was great. Scheduling from their webpage was easy. The text and email letting me know Jay was on his way (and Jay’s call) were very thoughtful. The information from the company about Jay was a nice touch, too (discovered he’s a volunteer firefighter, for example). The service once Jay arrived was top-notch, too. He quickly assessed the problem, gave a crystal-clear explanation and ball-park estimate. Then worked up a detailed estimate, and showed me wear and tear on the parts to confirm what did and didn’t need replacement. I only wish ALL service experiences were as good as I received today from Precision and Jay.

Repeat customer. Had a good experience with a repair several years ago, so we called Precision again for a recent repair need. We were scheduled right away. Technician notified when on his way and arrived on time. He was courteous and explained everything clearly throughout the repair. He identified the problem right away and gave us a price up front. He completed the repair within the time frame and price quoted. The job was done quickly but not hastily, taking the time to make fine-tune adjustments. Would definitely recommend and will call on them again in the future if needed.

I was very happy with the online scheduling service. It was fast, courteous, and convenient! I was able to set up an appointment for the very next day, also terrific, and was provided with an estimate. Garry was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him as well. The one item that surprised me was the substantial increase in cost over the estimate. The work required less than 10 minutes, for which I was charged an additional $75 above the quoted rate. This seems quite high for a surprise additional charge. The $15 coupon on the website could not be applied, which doesn't seem quite right.

Mike did a great job diagnosing the problem and repairing it quickly. He replaced the cables and pulleys and now the door opens easily. Only charged for the service call which was very nice. Thanks Mike!!

Technician arrived in the window provided and gave me a courtesy call 1 hour before arrival. Barry explained what I needed and made the cost of each component clear. After completing the repair, he then walked me through what he did. Barry was also kind enough to repair a garage opener light that had not been working for months (at not cost). Overall I was very impressed and would highly recommend Barry and Precision Door.

Spring replaced. Barry the technician came on time as advertised and replaced the broken spring in less than an hour, adjusted the garage door opener and greased the rollers. All in all it was $300 well spent.

Very precious, timely mannered & fix the simple problem by explaining the reason and advise to look for the switch that was triggered off while replacing light bulb. Could have charged more by not explaining the problem. Very reasonable price, and also spent time servicing and doing preventative maintenance such as greasing all joints, wheels and tightening loose bolts n nuts. Certainly recommend and appreciate honesty.

We recently had an issue with our garage door (broken spring). We called Precision Door and within 24 hours a technician had arrived and repaired the door. Not only were we given 2 different updates about when to expect the technician (The opposite of Comcast...). The technician, Barry, noticed a small change that could be made to reduce the noise and ware and tear on the door and quickly made the changes. Great job!
