Had Precision Garage Door install a new opener one year ago. With the extreme cold weather I had a slight problem opening the door the last couple of days. Called Precision Door and was advised that they could have someone come out today (1-20-26) between 330 & 500PM. The technician arrived approximately 415, checked for the problem and made several minor adjustments to the door, springs, and track Door seems to be fine now. 20+ year old garage broke and Precision sent Chris B. the next day. Chris was extremely helpful in determining what exactly was broken ( a few things) and what needed to be fixed now or wait till later. Since it was so old and this was a new home purchase we decided to replace almost everything besides the door itself. Chris was great at explaining the functionality of every piece we were replacing and going through all the changes after the replacement. Would definitely recommend.

Called and got an appointment for the next morning. Tito Cruz called to tell me he was on the way and showed up on time. Tito was very knowledgeable and professional. He did a full maintenance check on both doors, lubricated where necessary, and fixed the travel. He replaced the backup batteries and added locks. All work was done well and quickly. And he left me some lubricant and showed me where to apply in the future. Very satisfied.

Appointment made with ease. Installer called prior to arriving. Problem was diagnosed and repair was suggested. Also the worker discovered a problem with the existing garage door opener do to its age. The suggestion was approved, and the opener was replaced as well as the broken spring. Door is working very smoothly now. The workers were very respectfully to us and our property. No mess left. Would recommend this company to others

At 7AM, in the middle of the winter holidays, we found ourselves unable to open the garage door due to a broken spring. Three and a half hours later, Mike C, the Precision Garage Door of Baltimore technician, was leaving satisfied customers after replacing springs and rollers (20 year old door with no prior replacements), having provided advice regarding proper preventive maintenance, and giving tips on how the homeowner could improve garage door opener operation. More than just restoring capability, door operation is significantly smoother and much quieter.

We were very disappointed with the original information that was provided on the initial phone call for a summary price versus what we actually had to pay. We were told we would need to replace the torsion spring costing between 120 and $270 minus the 45.00 service fee. Our technician was knowledgeable and was very thorough as he told us we needed to torsion springs and some other parts. He actually wanted to complete additional service work than we could afford. We ended up spending $600 just disappointed that we were told one figure paid another price. We were also told that the torsion springs had a lifetime warranty very disappointed to find out that that was not the case at all. We would ask that whoever answers the phones should know the right information to provide to customers
