Technician was terrific. Job was done well and in a timely fashion. However the payment process was unacceptable. I always like to use my USAA credit card for jobs like this. Due to an already known billing problem my card was denied. I don’t like inconveniences such as this. Especially when a reputable company such as yours should be able to resolve the matter. USAA card holders are largely represented in the Baltimore/DC metro. Many of whom are probably just as frustrated with a denied card. I hope this company fixes this irritating problem soon. So next time a better review shall be given from a person like me.

Service was on time and technician was pleasant. Work was completed satisfactorily. Downside was price to repair was certainly on the high side and wouldn't recommend using this company based off the high cost.

Technicians were awesome. Price to replace 2 garage springs and accessories...$695? Ridiculous. Look elsewhere.

While we strive for complete customer satisfaction we do not claim to be the thrifty cheapest company in town. What we do offer is expert technicians, fast and courteous service and the best materials used in the industry backed by our lengthy warranty.

I was very happy with the online scheduling service. It was fast, courteous, and convenient! I was able to set up an appointment for the very next day, also terrific, and was provided with an estimate. Garry was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him as well. The one item that surprised me was the substantial increase in cost over the estimate. The work required less than 10 minutes, for which I was charged an additional $75 above the quoted rate. This seems quite high for a surprise additional charge. The $15 coupon on the website could not be applied, which doesn't seem quite right.

Thank you for your comments and your business. Our technicians need to examine your door to determine the right parts that are needed. Sometimes, it involves more expensive springs , parts, etc. We appreciate your business.

Service was excellent. However, there was definitely false advertising on the part of your company. When I chatted with your rep, I was told that the parts installed had a lifetime warrantly. However, when the technician finally arrived, after waiting most of the day, he stated that the parts were only warranteed for 3 years. If I did not already wasted an entire day waiting for your tech, I would have opted for another service company. As it is, I succumbed to not wasting another day and reluctantly took your service.

We are sorry there was some miscommunication with the warranty and your services. We hope we were able to discuss this with you to your satisfaction.

Nice guy came out first thing in AM as promised. Took one look at the spring and told me I needed to call OverHead Door. Overhead was curious what was special about springs. Took pictures. They're coming first thing tomorrow. They were puzzled why these guys couldn't do it. I do appreciate the honesty of not getting into a job you're not confident you can do.

Our technicians work hard to ensure all of our customers are happy with their work. Thank you for your business.

Was charged $510 for a torsion spring replacement and center bearing. This was after supplying the $15 online coupon. Friend at work had same job done for under $200. You look on line on ask.com and they say same thing. Parts $30 each plus $65 labor. Not sure where the other $300 came from since he was only here 45 minutes to do the job.

Please note that we only use high quality parts, not the type you can order online. We also have highly trained technicians to perform the work. Thank you for your business.

Reading reviews at other sites (HomeAdvisor, Yelp, etc.) you'll find that most reviews will say that this company is prompt and that their service is at least adequate. However, you'll also note that almost all complaints are about their prices. From my personal experience, I'd say that those reviews are spot on. In my case, their service was prompt, adequate, and extremely expensive. In fairness, I didn't do my homework as I should have (it's what happens when you get in a hurry), so the prices may or may not have been in line with industry standards. All I can do is present what I paid and let the reader be the judge. So... they charged me $340 for two torsion springs. Research on the net suggests that torsion springs range from $40 to $80 a piece. A set of torsion cables cost me $100. Looking around the net, cables fall in the $10 to $20 range each. Labor and service fee was approximately $125 for about an hours worth of work. All in all I would say their markup on parts is pretty hefty. This seems especially so considering that the online prices I noted above also are marked up (Home Depot etc. also make some profit on their sale - they don't sell their springs at cost). In the end, I feel like I got a bit burnt on this business transaction. I guess it's the price you pay when you rush and don't do your homework. Will I do business with this company again? Probably not - or at least not until I do more research into what the industry standard (competitors) rates/prices are.

Thank you for your comments. Our prices are higher than others, but that is because we only use high quality parts, trained technicians and offer warranties that others don't. You can order from online, but you will not be receiving the same quality of parts, nor the trained technician to install them. We've had calls from customers injured while trying to rewind a spring, and will not try that again.

Mike C replaced a drive gear & tested door operation which was good. Yet, after a few cycles the door does not open fully. I am currently waiting for Mike C to call. If I don't hear from him soon, I will be calling the office AGAIN!

We are glad we were able to take care of this problem. In the future, please call the office directly.

Precision could not find the paper work from previous vists, the work at least half of it,may have been under warranty . I had two springs replaced, one broken, one in new condition ,I wonder why that one needed to be replaced,or even if it was replaced.Ihave lost the confidence in Precision that had been built up through having Derrick as my tech in the past.
- Michael McCall
We will certainly look into this. We don't want to lose any of our loyal customers. Derrick became our manager.

Mike did a satisfactory job with the garage door motor installation. I was charged for the $49.95 service call which I assumed would be eliminated when I made the purchase of a new garage door motor with installation for $500.00. I have other doors that need some attention and I depend on Angie

When I called for an estimate I was told the springs would be $99 each and there would be a $49 service charge. I agreed to have the repair done. When the technician arrived he informed me that the cables would be an additional $99. This was $99 more than I had planned on paying when I agreed to have the repair done. I am not satisfied that there was an additional cost when the technician actually arrived on site.
- William Persinger
We appreciate your comments. It is very difficult for the folks scheduling to determine exactly what is wrong, since they are not there. They try to give customers a "ballpark" figure, but the tech is the one who can be more accurate after he inspects your door. Thank you for your business.

I purchased a coupon from Angie's List for a Garage Door Tune-Up. Once the technician arrive for my garage door tune-up, it was great. Getting him there was another issue. I spent 3 1/2 hours waiting for his arrival on a Saturday only to recieve a call that he needed to come Sunday instead. On Sunday, he promised to be there at noon, but arrived at 1:20. By the time he got there, I was quite disgusted with the whole thing, but he did a great job.

We are glad you were satisfied with the work that was done. We apologize for the delays, but we had a weekend where there were three personal emergencies with our technicians, and we tried hard to reorganize our schedules to make sure we got to all of our customers. We have not had this type of problem in the 11 years of business, and apologize for the rescheduling. We appreciate your business.

Derrick was very pleasant, but unfortunately my opener went crazy right after he left. Kept opening and closing on its own.
- John Kassab
Thank you for your comments regarding Derrick. He is an outstanding technician. I spoke with him about this matter. He informed me that you had ordered your own circuit board and could not get the remotes programmed. He programmed the remotes as instructed. Derrick is going to order the proper circuit board and install it. There is a possibility that the board you installed was not done correctly. Please return and review us again once this is corrected.
The guy who came out was very professional but my keypad still doesn’t work. Very frustrating
