Barry arrived and quickly assessed the issue I had with my garage door. He explained everything clearly and was extremely knowledgeable. He performed all repairs timely and checked everything prior to him leaving the job. My garage door now operates quieter and smoothly than before. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the Price. The cost of the work in my eyes was a bit excessive.

Barry was great. Very professional and friendly. He explained everything thoroughly and was quick. He is awesome! I thought that I would be better prepared for the prices after doing a little research on the net before I called, but I was still a tad sticker shocked. Not so drastically overpriced I wouldn't use Precision again since the service was so good, but enough to taint the experience and make it a four star vs. five star for level of satisfaction. I do highly recommend Precision (esp. Barry), but just be mentally prepared that you'll be paying a bit above the "average" estimates you see in forums if you've done your research.

Barry and his partner were efficient and friendly. On installation day, Barry called twice to give me a narrower arrival window and then an estimated arrival time as he drew closer. They solicited my opinion on placement of switches and lights, walked me through testing all the equipment, and cleaned up after themselves.

My technician was Barry and he did a great job. I don't know much about the technical aspects of my garage door and he made a point to explain how each part works and what maintenance I should do. He was pretty quick to complete the repair and made sure to review everything he did. Mike explained exactly what he was doing, plus he told me how to keep my doors in good working order. Thanks! Mike did a great job. He called when he was on his way to my home and was right on-time . Went beyond the replacement of the worm gear repair to lubricate the track, rollers and hinges on the door. Mike also lighten the door a little by taking a couple of turns on the springs (hopefully this will prevent the problem for occurring again for a long time. he also replaced a light bulb that saving me for getting a ladder out to do it myself. Mike was polite, professional, and answer all my questions. I would have no problem recommending Precision door and Mike to anyone needing service.

Problem was that the door would only rise about a foot or so. The cause was not self-evident; Darrell went about the diagnosis of the issue in a very logical manner ruling out possible culprits and eventually found the issue to be in the garage door opener itself. After modifying the settings, the door functioned properly.

Mike did an excellent job, as far as I could determine, replacing the garage door springs & safety cables. However, he failed to address the problem of the door rubbing against the top of the frame when it was raised & lowered. That problem caused the door not to close completely, and left a gap of 2-3 inches on one side of the door. This problem only occurred after the spring broke. Mike thought that the frame needed to be planed. But, after I tried planing the wood, I realized that the door was rubbing across 2/3 of the top frame, and there was no way this was the source of the problem, so I contacted Precision Door, again. This time they sent out the installer, Darrell, and Darrell realized that one of the brackets holding the top roller in place had bent significantly enough to cause the rubbing. After he straightened the bracket, the door opened & closed without the rubbing, and the gap at the bottom was reduced to less than an inch on one side.

Precision installed our doors originally. I work out of my garage for my business so immediate service was a must. We had a cable snap and a roller hinge break. I called them same day it broke and they we're able to come out and fix it! I was extremely impressed that they were able to come out same day. The tech was very polite, worked efficiently and said because they installed the doors, there was no charge for parts. I was only charged for labor. They did an amazing job! If you need any door replacement or repair, these are your go to guys, they are amazing!!!
