I corrected the spelling of my last name so you have it. When the service tech talked to me about the door, he said that it was installed incorrectly, the top bracket was not placed properly. I told him that Precision installed it, he called the office and they did not have a record of the installation. Maybe you couldn't find me in the system because my name is mis-spelled.Please have someone contact me
After careful research, we found that you purchased your door from home depot, and another company installed it. While we do take responsibility for our work, we cannot be responsible for work we did not perform.

My technician, Brian, was on time and immediately went to work. Took care of my garage door opener and thereafter while performing a safety check, noticed that my cables were improperly installed and constituted a potential danger. Suggested new cables and he explained why the new cables would perform better. I watched him as he removed the old cables and added the new ones. Explained everything to my satisfaction. I had a garage inspection performed which I had purchased through an Angie's List big deal. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and Barry actually showed up early, after the office called to ensure that would be okay. He was very personable, performed the coupon work, then also recommended safety cables since I have small children. When my husband returned home, he went through all the information he had found during his inspection and his recommendations a second time. He also took the time to show my 3 year old daughter the rollers in his tool box which she was curious about and let her have a couple to play with. I would highly recommend this company as my experience with them was stream-lined and extremely professional.

Derrick conducted a Garage Door Tune-up and installed Ultra Quiet Rollers. He provided the results after his 25-point Safety Checklist inspection, and recommended a lubrication schedule. He was very informative and professional at all times - outstanding customer service and care. I will contact Precision in the future for any garage door issues.

The work performed was fine. The prices, however, were not. $125 per spring? $35 per safety cable? I understand that your price builds in labor, but I can buy the same springs for $25 online. Given those prices and the time required to install the pair of springs, I calculate a labor/ overhead rate of $200/ hour. I'm sorry, but I can't see how that rate is justified
Mr. Faul, We appreciate your comments, and strive for 100% satisfaction. Please know that the parts you buy online are not the same superior parts we use. Our springs are 30000 cycle springs, where most are 5-10000. We use only superior parts and back them with our warranty, that you will not get online. Our trucks are fully stocked, and our technicians are trained and cried. We carry workmanship comp I durance, which many companies do not,. Without this, the I juried worker could sue you the homeowner. We are not the most inexpensive company, but we stand behind our work, and are licensed and insured.

Our installer Barry called me before he arrived on time. He explained alternative scenarios to fix my garage door/opener problems and took the time to answer my questions before the work initiated.
