We had utilized Precision Door Service for our garage door service a few years ago so we were comfortable calling them when our garage door needed servicing this time. We were able to get a same day appointment. Our technician, Tyler arrived at our scheduled appointment time. Tyler was courteous, professional, patient with answering our questions, knowledgeable, and had a great personality! The door repair was completed thoroughly and expeditiously and we are very pleased with the service we received from Tyler and Precision Door Service!

The day I came home from foot surgery our garage door spring broke. Tyler came out looked at our 25 year door and hardware. He gave me several options to get the door moving again, he had everything on the truck. He was very professional and whit-in an hour all of the hardware had been replaced and now the door moves much smother and quieter. I would recommend Precision Door to anyone that asks!

I’m a tough critic when it comes to home services, and I couldn’t be happier with the work Tyler did installing my new garage door opener. He upgraded me to a quiet belt-drive system with an internal camera and external keypad, took the time to thoroughly explain how everything works, and left the garage spotless — not a single stray wire or piece of packaging left behind. I’ve used a lot of Neighborly companies (Mr. Handyman of Frederick and Dryer Vent Wizard of Greater Frederick are go-to’s for me), and Precision Garage Door of Frederick is now at the top of that list. Tyler’s professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly approach made the whole process easy and stress-free. Highly recommend Precision Garage Door of Frederick — ask for Tyler!

Tyler was very polite, and inspected my garage door and offered me 3 different options for fixing the problems I was concerned about. My system is about 20 years old, so I was able to decide what to do now, and am happy with the work.

Tyler came to our house on a Saturday afternoon to fix our garage door. We asked for quotes on 3 different options. He inspected the door and wrote up the quotes. He sat with us and talked through each in detail and answered all of our questions so we could make an informed decision. We are purchasing a whole new system but he made our operable until the installation date. He was fantastic and recommend Precision to anyone who wants quality and dealing with professionals!

I chose Precision because I was able to make an appointment through website via chat. The process was very efficient and service was scheduled for next day. Tyler W was on time, explained my options, and answered all my questions before and after service was performed. The cost was higher than I expected, but the problems were resolved to my satisfaction with a 1 year warranty on parts.

Tyler was awesome at fixing my garage door. He explained all the ins and outs of what was happening - why the coil broke, things to pay attention in the future, and why my garage had the issue. (Its a decent size garage). He did a good inspection and gave me pricing options. He had it repaired in about an hour. I’d recommend him and Precision to everyone.

Torsion spring replacement: the tech was friendly and did a good job, the review rating is based on price and up-sale tactics. The tech worked up 3 pricing options for this repair: OK fix $684, Good fix $1300, Great fix $1600, with each level replacing more parts (apart from the broken torsion spring) and started to explain them to me. I said: When I chatted online your rep indicated the max price for this repair was $300. He said: Yeah, if you only want the spring replaced. I said: Do that. 1. The spring only replacement wasn't even provided as an option 2. Imo trying to gouge a customer for all that money to replace parts that aren't needed with a spring replacement is robbery. I feel sorry for folks who are unaware and waste their hard earned money. You can google for yourself if these other parts are required for a spring repair, I found they are not. That should be explained to the customer.
