My garage door would not close all the way and I tried fixing it via tech support on the phone with Liftmaster. No luck. Precision Door came out today and solved the problem and showed up & made the repair,even though I could not be there. I talked to repairman on the phone.

I am totally impressed with the friendliness, professionalism and care that I received from each person at Precision. My garage door wasn't closing so I called Precision (after a quick google search) and was able to get an appointment that was convenient for me. The customer service rep was super nice. The day of the appointment I had to call back, and the rep I spoke to went above and beyond by contacting my repairman and having him call me. The repairman came on time and was able to fix my problem right away. He was very knowledgable and friendly as well - Mike C. I definitely recommend Precision for your garage door needs. Meeting was scheduled for 2-4pm Saturday but the call saying your representative would be late came after 5pm and I was unable to attend a memorial service that afternoon for an old friend The price for what I needed was significantly higher than one quoted to me by a company that scheduled an appointment at 11am that morning. The representative arrived on time, determined what was needed and said installation could be done on Monday. My decision to go with the first quote was simple

I came across the website for Precision while looking for another company. When I called to make an appointment, the young lady that answered the phone was very professional and provided all the information that I need to make a decision. The technician (Garry) called as requested and arrived as promised. He did an excellent job and pointed out some simple maintenance tasks that would extend the life of my door. Barry, our technician, was excellent: he pointed out the parts of our garage that failed and why, asked pertinent questions about the history of the door, shared a detailed assessment, and made three separate recommendations. He also shared alternatives and emphasized why they were not recommended (e.g., risk of future failure). The repair was quick, and he added information about what to request when we are ready to replace the garage door system.

Derrick was outstanding!! I'm so glad it was him that came out. If I ever need service again, there is no question I'm asking for him. He was friendly, explained things very clearly, and spent time to make sure I understood what he was doing. I was disappointed with the tech that came out the first time as he came and went within less than 10 minutes, and didn't do half of what Derrick did. Because he had not done a thorough job that is why I needed a second visit. Derrick really took the time to look at the problem and then make recommendations for fixing it. Thank you Derrick!

You charged me $50 after your technicians came out, looked at the spring setup, talked to their manager, who reportedly said good luck finding someone who can work on this. I have sent e-mails with pictures to two other area garage door repair businesses who say that replacing this spring should not be a problem. You then e-mail me, having the gall to thank me for my business and giving you the "opportunity" to service my door. While to an extent I appreciate Mike trying to give me options, I'm still ticked that (1) other businesses can replace my garage door and (2) there should be able to provide a comprise between doing nothing and selling me on a new garage door and system.

Excellent work diagnosing misaligned track and damaged cables. Quickly took care of both, adjusted door to open and close effortlessly. I would have preferred that this have been detected in our "tune-up" earlier in the week, rather than having another service call/fee, but in the end, the door works perfectly. Thank you.
