Several repair issues were present with my overhead garage door, including a broken spring. Mike had it all done and working better than ever in 30 minutes. Very impressed. Precision installed two new garage doors and two new garage door openers on our home. The new garage doors look very nice and are in a carriage house style with supporting hardware. They are very quiet and smooth when opening and have motion sensors to turn on the lighting. We are very happy with the service, they came on time and overall the job took about 5 hours. The technician clearly knew what he was doing and took quite a bit of time to explain all the features and how to use them.

The tracks on my garage door were accidentally bent on one side causing my garage door to literally roll off the tracks. (Side note.... don't try fixing an overhead door yourself.... its more complicated than you can imagine.) At 5 pm I called and was scheduled for the next morning service. Derrick and his assistant came out. Instantly, Derrick took charge. An outstanding quality! I could tell he had 12 years of experience in Overhead repair and customer service. He communicated what needed to be done and went to work. At each point of the process, he communicated what he was doing and assured me my garage was going to be back to normal. The truth is.... he put it back better than normal. He tightened a few cable wires and now the garage rolls up better than it did before. Derrick Thank you! The tech finished in about 20 minutes and did a great job. He made sure that we understood how the openers worked.

Barry and his partner were efficient and friendly. On installation day, Barry called twice to give me a narrower arrival window and then an estimated arrival time as he drew closer. They solicited my opinion on placement of switches and lights, walked me through testing all the equipment, and cleaned up after themselves.

My technician was Barry and he did a great job. I don't know much about the technical aspects of my garage door and he made a point to explain how each part works and what maintenance I should do. He was pretty quick to complete the repair and made sure to review everything he did. Barry was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and understands what good customer service is, and he even finished sweeping out my garage for me. I highly recommend.

The serviceman was quick to diagnose the problem. It involved using a screw driver to adjust the opener, he was helpful in giving us suggestions for maintenance. The price seemed a bit high.

I would actually make this 4.5 stars if I could. I called, very last-minute after another garage door repair company canceled on me, late on a day when the weather was particularly brutal and still managed to get someone from Precision to come over and fix our garage that very evening. The work seems to be holding up, and the technician was very pleasant. I am subtracting 1/2 a star because he brought the ladder through our house and took a chunk out of the trim around our dining room entrance (which I now have to sand and repaint) and also because the price seemed a bit high compared to what our research had us expecting. Overall, however, we were grateful for the emergency visit, the work seems well-done, and both the receptionist answering the phones and technician doing the work were very pleasant to work with.

Mike explained exactly what he was doing, plus he told me how to keep my doors in good working order. Thanks! Mike did a great job. He called when he was on his way to my home and was right on-time . Went beyond the replacement of the worm gear repair to lubricate the track, rollers and hinges on the door. Mike also lighten the door a little by taking a couple of turns on the springs (hopefully this will prevent the problem for occurring again for a long time. he also replaced a light bulb that saving me for getting a ladder out to do it myself. Mike was polite, professional, and answer all my questions. I would have no problem recommending Precision door and Mike to anyone needing service.

The work was wonderful, however, the night before the girl told be there was a spot open if I could get someone at the house and when i called back after working to do that they told the person the spot was not available. I called the the girl spoke to her manager and it was made to happen. So all in all, I will give them a 4.5 star.

Problem was that the door would only rise about a foot or so. The cause was not self-evident; Darrell went about the diagnosis of the issue in a very logical manner ruling out possible culprits and eventually found the issue to be in the garage door opener itself. After modifying the settings, the door functioned properly.
