Today we had Brent come out and service our garage door. We knew we had a broken spring, but when Brent took a look at our door, he found lots of other things wrong with it. He wrote up three estimates for the work, all based on how much money we wanted to spend to get the door functional. Once we decided, he assured us he would get to work and would be done in an hour. True to his word, one hour later he was done. He explained everything he had done to fix the garage door, and even showed me the old, worn out parts that he replaced. The garage door runs smoother and a lot quieter now that it has been fixed. This is my first experience with Precision Garage Door Service, and I have to say that I am very pleased with the company and its service. If all of their techs are as friendly, knowledgeable, and professional as Brent, I will be sure to call them the next time I need service on my other two garage doors.

I was a little hesitant to use Precision. I was very pleased with their service. I received an immediate return call to schedule an appointment. Then I received a call about a cancellation. The appointment was moved up!!! The technicians were very knowledgeable of my problems and immediately service the door!! The garage door was working without any issues!!! No one wants a garage spring to break but that happened to us on a Friday late afternoon. I was so relieved to hear someone could come out and fix it over the weekend. I chose Precision because of their good reviews and it turned out I'd actually used their services once before in 2013. They came the same day I called and Bobby Vahdatshoar was absolutely wonderful! He was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable! He carefully explained all of my options and I was particularly impressed with the fact he advised to keep my existing door and only replace the motor and all of the tracking mechanisms. He could have easily told me I needed to replace everything. He completed the work and showed me the results and explained everything and even configured my car to be able to open the garage. I am very impressed and would definitely recommend this company and will use them again if needed.

The technician, Tito” was incredibly nice and seemed to be very knowledgeable of all aspects of the garage doors. As soon as he arrived, he quickly pointed out a few other visible issues with various components of the door systems, like frayed cables and worn rollers which would break completely shortly. Although I do a lot of DIY, this is one of those repairs you want a professional installer fixing. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service from Tito.

I called Precision to come help with one squeaky garage door. Both doors were completely replaced five years ago. The technician first tried to sell me on purchasing all new springs for both doors, costing over $2000. After I said that I was not interested in doing that, he said that he could just give both doors a tune-up and replace the rollers, which he said are what is causing the squeaking. I felt deceived that he did not first tell me the cause of the squeaking was the rollers. I talked with him until he lowered the price of the "tune-up" and roller replacement, which still seemed overpriced. I called the company during this time to ask what the cost of the tune-up should be, and they revealed that the cost to me would be $150 more because I live in a "nicer area". Fortunately they gave me a discount to the estimate giving by the technician. The technician also did not follow their policy to have me sign a written estimate before he started work. After he completed the work, the garage door was quieter. However, I noticed that the chain seemed lower than it should be, which was causing the door to jolt upon opening and was rubbing against the pulley. He assured me this was fine. Days later, I am going to have to higher another company to tighten the chain because it is clearly causing the door to jolt open. I am very disappointed with the service. I have never given a poor review prior to any service company prior to this. I felt that rather than helping me, the technician was trying to get me to pay the most money for whatever he could sell me on. I wonder if they receive a commission on sales for service calls. I would warn others not to use Precision Garage Door Service.

While it is never good to have garage door issues I have to say the service we received was 2nd to none. Jay came out and did a phenomenal job providing expert recommendations and was just honest and genuine. He then provided the necessary repairs quickly and professionally. He is a tremendous work and Precision is lucky to have him. This company cares about the customers and was able to have an expert technician on-site the next day after my call.
