I did a Google search for garage door repair & found Precision. I noticed that the support rails on the door near the motor appeared to be broken. I was very pleased with my technician, Craig, who was very polite and professional. I didn't expect the cost of the repair & I forgot to request a discount through AAA or for being a senior citizen

Technician Christopher I-Bernard was fantastic.very courteous and professional and assessed the problem in 15 minutes (bad sensors). He gave me reasonable options to correct the problem, and replaced the sensors within another 15 minutes. Highly recommend Precison and especially Christopher.

Chris fully evaluated the repair required, and since all the parts were on his truck already, he went right to work replacing springs, rollers, cables and pulleys. Very knowledgeable techician, and the automatic garage door is like new again.

Our garage door broke off the wall jamming our garage door and bending lots of the metal frame . Precision is open 24/7and took my call on a Sunday night . They were at our house 8 am the next morning , evaluate and did the entire job in 3 hours .. Charles was great and respectful of us and our home. $1600 for new rollers, springs,wire conversion from Wayne Dalton springs. I was ripped off. Haven't found anybody who has paid as much as me. Lesson learned

Strangely, our garage door was opening all by itself, without us using our remote or key pad. This happened several times over a two-day period. We tried deleting the code and reentering a code but that didn't resolve the problem. We contacted Precision and a their very nice and knowledgeable technician, Derrick, was on the scene in a matter of hours. He performed a reboot which seemed to work. But moments later, a close neighbor drove by. To our surprise, our garage door once again seemingly opened all by itself. The mystery started to be solved when Derrick asked us to check with the neighbor who had just opened her garage door. It turned out that our neighbor's car was in the shop for repair and she was given a "loaner" that had a remote. When she used her remote to open her garage door, she unwittingly opened ours as well. Mystery solved. Derrick reset our garage door opener so as to block the interference. Thanks goes again to "detective" Derrick.

Technician Bobby was amazingly skilled, great at improvising and working with a 50-year old door installed in a 19th century garage (no right angles, lots of non-standard customized features from the original installation to adapt the tracks, cables, and springs to the space). The cables, pulleys, and hinges were worn out and presented special challenges in replacing. Bobby was very clear in talking to a customer who knows nothing about garage doors except that they should go up and down. Also was willing to work with my weird old door; I was afraid he would just say it should be replaced, but he valued the high quality of some of the older components and found ways to make them work like new. Super happy customer. (I would put five stars, but he just left a couple of hours ago and I haven't had time to see if the repairs work long term. He said Precision would honor calls for tweaks for several days even though the door was too old for him to give me a warranty. I like that kind of honesty.)

I had long heard good things abouit Precision Door Service. Now after just one service call, I am super impressed. Called on a Saturday, not expecting anyone to answer. Not only did I get an answer, but I also was given an appointment for Sunday morning! It gets better. An experienced technician and a trainee arrived even earlier than expected; quickly found the problem; and installed a new belt drive and sprocket kit. Super friendly and professional. Surpassed my expectations, and gained a new customer. I was also very impressed by the names and photos of technicians on the appointment confirmation email.

The service was excellent! I would have given 5 stars, but we have a two car garage, and only one remote was included with the purchase. I had to purchase the second one separately. Logically two should have been included in the price. I know from previous experience that other companies do include two.

I know nothing about garage doors, except which button to push. When nothing happens, I try to find who to call. This company indicated 24 hour/7 day a week contact availability. I called at 3:15 ish and the operator indicated that Chris would be at my house between 5:30 and 9:30 same day. Already, I'm feeling positive. Then she says, he will call if he can make it earlier, if that's ok. Again a plus. Chris called at 4:00 and said he'd be here in 30 mins and he was. He checked out the problem and explained to me in a way that even I could understand. He offered me 3 different options for repair at different price points. When I asked when the work could be done, he told me--Right now. He started the work at about 5:00 and finished at 7:00. 2 garage doors, explanations, "paperwork" all completed within 4 hours of a phone call. SUPER. Highly recommend.

Garage door repair: 2 springs replaced I was extremely satisfied with the same day service and very impressed with the repair technician, Keith. He was very professional, knowledgeable, efficient in quickly diagnosing the problem and solving the problem (worn springs) with materials on his truck. I am, however, disappointed in the fact that the same springs I previously had replaced by this company had a 10 year warranty (and lasted 12.5 years), now have only a 3 year warranty!
