I contacted Precision when my old springs broke. I did my research first and learned that they do not cut corners and the cure could be expensive but appropriate. Good decision! Their skilled tecnition arrived in one day, on time and spent time discussing options. Decision made and the work was complete same day. Great job. Highly recommended.

Working with Chris from Precision to assess issues with my outdated garage door track/torsion spring system - they came out same day to inspect, he was able to provide me with a few options to choose from including an option to keep my original wooden door. His team came out 2 days later and replaced my entire track/torsion system. Everything works like a charm and now I have the peace of mind of a up-to-date system built using up-to-date parts. I was very pleased with your company's appointment process. I called for a general service / maintenance appointment because I don't no anything about garage door maintenance. Logic tells me that garage doors have to wear out at some point in time; therefore, something has done to maintain these things. The next morning Tito came to my home and did a great job explaining the problems with my 20 year old garage doors and corrected current and impending problems. He did not feel that we needed to make any major purchases. He recommended general maintenance, replacement of some very important parts and told me what I should be doing to reduce future problems. Tito is very personable and explained everything. Great job communicating his recommendations. I will definitely contact Precision again for future service needs.

Called for repair of garage door that wouldn't open. Dakota came out and was great! He replaced the busted huge spring that actually does the heavy lifting. He replaced all the worn out rollers, and tuned the whole system as well. The door itself was still in good shape, so didn't need to replace that. (I appreciated his honesty!) Dakota was quick with the job too - got it all done in less than an hour. I'll definitely use Precision Doors again. And I'll be asking for Dakota - pleasant guy, smart, honest, and knows what he's doing!

I had a an existing garage door modified about a year ago by Precision, to a torsion spring setup. Although it was somewhat expensive in my opinion, the technician was very professional and did a great job. Fast forward to this year, a little more than a year after the installation. I was having an issue with my garage door opener not working. I discovered that the door would not stay open when I tried to open it manually (with the opener disengaged.) I called the company to have a technician come out and adjust the spring tension. When I called, the woman at Precision courteously set me up an appointment for the next day. The technician came out at the very beginning of the four-hour time slot, pushed my car out of the way so he could work ( I had forgotten to move it, and my wife was having trouble as it was a stick shift) and balanced the door. I wasn’t home at the time, but when I can home I tested it out. The door is well-balanced and very easily opens and closes, and stays open and closed when it’s supposed to. Additionally, they didn’t charge me for the service, as it was still under warranty. I am completely satisfied with the product and the support. Fantastic service!

I was very pleased with my technician Toto. He was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. My garage doors open so smoothly, in a power outage I can disconnect the door with the emergency pull rope and easily open the door by hand. No more calling a neighbor!

9/7/2022 - Great Service from Tito and Precision Garage Door. Tito was the consummate professional, found things that needed service I didn't know about. BEWARE!!! GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY...WAY OVERPRICED LABOR CHARGE wrapped into product prices!!. Had service today for replacement of 2 springs, 3 pulleys and 2 cable wires. Tito quoted cost at $924.00 and if I replaced 12 rollers, with their best rollers, for one single garage door the cost would be $1214.00. The parts themselves costs no way over $250 - $300 dollars in my opinion. However, based on the quoted price, that would make the LABOR charge roughly $600.00 to $900.00 and for a job that only took approx. 1hr to 1 1/2 hour to complete. Tito the technician justification was that based on the skill level of the technician with more than 22yrs experience in repairing garage doors and due to COVID, all pricings are going up. Sorry, not buying that rational or attempted justification for the inflated prices. So basically, a Precision Garage Door Technician will cost a customer a minimum $600 to do one hour of labor work. Per the technician the green colored springs are their very best and cost about $100+ a piece, okay but the remaining LABOR CHARGE WRAPPED INTO THE PRICES OF THE PARTS IS OUTRAGEOUS. ***GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY FOR YOUR GARAGE REPAIRS *** This company in my opinion is more geared towards commercial business repairs where a company can foot these outlandish & outrages overcharges, but definitely not for the simple residential home customers. Do yourself a favor and get yourself 2-3 estimates from other companies before going this company, unless you just wades of money laying around to spend on pulleys, springs and cables.
