On 12-15-21 I called for a technician to come and check my garage doors out. I did not have any particular problems I just wanted to make sure everything was okay. I was told a check up would be $60.00. Well the representative came out and started his inspection, I told him I was not aware of anything wrong just wanted it checked out. When he finished he gave me three estimates $1,285.77 _ best $1,073.77 - Better $769.55 Good. This really disappointed me from your advertisement on TV, until the rep gave me his estimate, I did not realize this would be a scam. I called a local door sales and service company and they came out and inspected my doors. He put two safety cables on the back eight foot door and greased all parts that needed it and charged me $75.00. Now I asked you the difference of $75.00 and your three estimates I think answers my questions. You ask for a star rating but since you do not have a zero category I cannot complete the question. Since it would not go through without a star selection I have no choice but to hit a one.

We called Precision to look over both our 33 year old garage doors. My wife’s door had a lift spring break, and I wanted to have both doors refurbished if possible. Tito; our Precision Tech arrived Sunday morning on time in the snow, and assessed our doors within 15 minutes. He said our doors and lift motors were in great shape, but all the hardware, other than the tracks should be replaced. He showed us an estimate on his computer, and told us he had all the materials he needed to put our doors back to what they were when new. He said he would bring them up to current safety codes, and lower my maintenance for them as well. He took the time to show me how my roller had failed, and compared his replacement parts with my originals. After he showed me the quality of his parts, we approved the work. It took him about 3 hours to install and adjust all our rollers, cables, springs, and pulleys. For safety, he also installed a containment system for all 4 lift springs. We’ll no longer have to worry about a broken spring doing damage to one of our cars, or my motorcycle. Although the cost of job was more than my wife and I expected when we made the appointment, the quality of the materials & workmanship far exceeded our expectations. We’re happy with our results, and Tito couldn’t have been more proud of the job he did. He actually took the time to disconnect my wife’s door from its drive system with the emergency pull rope, to show us how easily the door opened by hand. Pride in workmanship is something you don’t always find today.

5 star rating. I just got home and 10 minutes later I heard a loud noise in the garage. one spring had broken. Tito was here within a few hours and walked me through his recommendation for repairs. We have been here for 44 years with a few past repairs. I now have all brand new parts for my 18 foot door. Now even my wife can lift the door if electric goes out. I am extremely pleased with Precision and Tito. I recommend them to everyone.

I was impressed by the (same day service, completely stocked trucks.) I had already purchased two new Genie openers and when we opened the box I noticed the rail & belt were not as heavy duty as I expected they would be. I did a Google search for garage door repair & found Precision. I noticed that the support rails on the door near the motor appeared to be broken. I was very pleased with my technician, Craig, who was very polite and professional. I didn't expect the cost of the repair & I forgot to request a discount through AAA or for being a senior citizen

Technician Christopher I-Bernard was fantastic.very courteous and professional and assessed the problem in 15 minutes (bad sensors). He gave me reasonable options to correct the problem, and replaced the sensors within another 15 minutes. Highly recommend Precison and especially Christopher.

Chris fully evaluated the repair required, and since all the parts were on his truck already, he went right to work replacing springs, rollers, cables and pulleys. Very knowledgeable techician, and the automatic garage door is like new again.

Our garage door broke off the wall jamming our garage door and bending lots of the metal frame . Precision is open 24/7and took my call on a Sunday night . Strangely, our garage door was opening all by itself, without us using our remote or key pad. This happened several times over a two-day period. We tried deleting the code and reentering a code but that didn't resolve the problem. We contacted Precision and a their very nice and knowledgeable technician, Derrick, was on the scene in a matter of hours. He performed a reboot which seemed to work. But moments later, a close neighbor drove by. To our surprise, our garage door once again seemingly opened all by itself. The mystery started to be solved when Derrick asked us to check with the neighbor who had just opened her garage door. It turned out that our neighbor's car was in the shop for repair and she was given a "loaner" that had a remote. When she used her remote to open her garage door, she unwittingly opened ours as well. Mystery solved. Derrick reset our garage door opener so as to block the interference. Thanks goes again to "detective" Derrick.
