If I had filled this out based on just the technician visit by Jay, it would’ve been 5 stars across the board. However, I just received news from Precision Door that, instead of the promised “mid-week this week” installation, I’m now waiting till 6 May for installation. No good reason given for the delay. Precision Door shouldn’t make promises it can’t keep. This isn’t in Jay as I’m confident he wouldn’t promise something he didn’t hear from HQ.

Nick was our technician. He was very professional and courteous. He called to let us know he was 20 minutes away. He was friendly and gave me hints on ridding carpenter bees. He was efficient. In the beginning, he showed me the areas that were broken/old. At the end, he showed me the replacements and how easily the door functioned. We had used Precision 18 months ago to replace the original garage door motor(20 yrs). Precision is everything that the advertisements say.

I want to thank Precision Garage for their prompt response to my home today. Bobby, the technician, was at my home in about 2 hours from when I placed an urgent call at about 7:30 a.m. ! Really excellent customer service. Bobby completed a very thorough inspection and explained what my options were. Original install of garage door was on 3/10/2025. The techician arrived several hours later than the schedule time of the appt time frame. Additionally, he backed in my garage frame with his truck causing damage and did not install the door correctly nor complete the weather striping work around the door. After reporting this to the company a manager came out to my home unannounced and apologized for the poor work, pointed out several errors in the installation and advised that he and the install tech would be back to correct job (mentioned that it would be a learning experience for the tech). The repair were scheduled for 4/10/25 between 8-10am for repairs to my damaged garage frame during install; completion and adjustment of garage door that was not completed during the original install and install of framing in garage windows. On 4/10/25 the technician came after 4pm to only installed the frames into the window which were poorly installed. The tech never knocked on my door or acknowledged he was there. This was the second occurance where I was given a timeframe and the technician arrived several hours pass the given time and did not complete quality work nor finish the job. I've taken off work twice now to have been this company not arrive on time nor give me any sort of notice that they were running late. Additionally I never received any official invoice or breakdown of payment and materials from the company in which I was advised would be emailed to me.

I had springs replaced over 10 years ago by Precision. Still going strong! I was told and witnessed that my 20 year old door opener system needed much repair work to bring it back on line. I was told of three options that I could pursue. I selected a middle option by choosing to go with a new Liftmaster opener and belt system (without back up battery option). The technicians (Chris Brown and his assistant) did an excellent job on the install and told me about all the features that came with my new opener. The MyQ app is great. The opener even has a security camera. I strongly recommend Precison to anyone with garage door issues !

Scheduling same-day service was quick & confirmed by email; technician (Tavon) called when on the way & arrived early; diagnosed problem & explained repair options, costs and warranties. Tavon completed the work, cleaned-up, explained what had been done, and tested the door operation. Tavon earned the 5-Star rating and I would use and also recommend Precision again.
