On December 20, 2020, Dakota, from Precision Overhead Garage Door Service, came to our property and installed a new garage door opener. I waited until today, January 8, to submit a review, for I wanted to open and close the door for a period of time before submitting a review. First of all my wife and I couldn't be more pleased with Dakota. He was most professional and extremely polite! He was also very efficient and methodical in taking out the old motor and belt and installing the new motor and belt. When he finished, he very nicely explained to us how to program the remote, and patiently explained to us how to program our cars with the remote that came with the cars. As a retired teacher, I give him an A+ for his work! I can also say that after using the garage door for 20 days, the opener has worked perfectly! I can't recommend Precision Door Service highly enough; especially kudos to Dakota! I wish I could give you six stars!

It all started with the young woman answering the phone. She was very kind & professional & able to give us an appt, within 24 hours! Keith, our tech, called & was here within the beginning of our 3 hour window. He tried to make a repair but in the end had to replace the motor. He made sure everything was working before he left. He also has to make repairs that another company installed incorrectly. He was very polite, understanding and knew his trade. THANK YOU KEITH!

We are very satisfied with the service. Dakota came to our complex and examined 8 garage doors and 7 openers. He repaired one garage door, provided a remote for another one, reprogrammed an opener and replaced the lifting mechanism in a third door that was dangerously defective. He determined that 2 of the openers were too old and could not b repaired. Very intelligent and competent young man. Thanks!

Called for a broken spring, Keith C. Tech was fantastic, Punctual, communicated issues and resolutions well. Upgraded from a single spring to a dual spring as my door being solid single spring wasn't enough. Also had them install a Lift Master side jack garage door opener the following day. Again very punctual and efficient. Great Service!

I suddenly needed garage repair and the weather report was concerning so I hit internet. Checked reviews and liked having a site near me with 24/7 service. Considering this year, boy did I luck out. The service technician was Keith and he was terrific. He went above and beyond. Had everything repaired, explained and checked within his estimated time. Extremely professional and personable. He makes the company look great and hope that is recognized. In this day and time it is rare to find and often not appreciated. I called Precision on Saturday and spoke to a very friendly receptionist who gave me an appointment for Sunday morning. I had the pleasure of meeting your technician Dakota, who was extremely professional and informative to what needed to be done. He arrived on time and assessed the problem walking me thru the process. He completed the spring and cable repair within the hour..I was completely satisfied and would highly recommend Precision . Looking on your website it gave me confidence to book an appointment because you can see the employees that work for the company. It gave their experiences as well as other reviews which set well with me. I felt like I knew Mike before I actually met him in person. Mike wanted to come earlier than the appointment scheduled so he gave me a call and was happy to have him come. I didn’t have to sit around waiting which was great because I had the rest of the day to myself. Mike was professional and explained everything that needed to be done. It was fixed in 20 min. I will always use Precision Door if I have any other issues with my garage door.

Dakota and another rep came over 11/6/20; both men were very courteous and professional. I requested a new lock and bar mechanism for manual opening of a lightly used garage door. I pointed out a need for roller track adjustment and Dakota noticed a cable out of alignment. My assumption was this initial visit was for scoping the job for parts requirements and future work assessment. The guys did about 20 minutes of adjustment work and invoiced me for $150.00. I gather they were following company policy / procedure. The work they did this evening could have waited for the main tasks to follow, once ordered parts arrive. In defense of your crew, I did not communicate my expectations; but I am a little disappointed that I’ll end up paying for two repair visits, when one would suffice. I also realize that you rightly have a minimal labor charge once a work crew arrives. However, most contractors scope and estimate work free of charge; that is what I thought this initial visit was for. I’ll shrug this off as poor communication on my part. I used to be the maintenance Supt. at Erachem in Curtis Bay (retired now). I had your outfit in the plant on numerous occasions back in the day. Precision Garage Door came out to repair a broken spring on our garage door that was under warranty. The technician was within the timeframe set for the appointment. Very happy with the repair.

We had a garage door repaired. The motor was still working. The cables and springs needed replacement. It was easy to get an appointment. technician was late but apologized and he did call to update on his arrival time. Technician seemed knowledgeable very courteous. Did what was necessary to make sure the door worked properly. Don't have anything to compare to . We were given 3 choices of estimates and warranties, Chose the cheapest. Don"t have anything to compare with. Just thought it was a little pricey.

Our great experience started with setting up the appointment which we got the next day! Our repairman, Keith C. called to ask if he could come earlier. He was very respectful and knowledgeable. He assessed the situation and rectified it in a timely manner. He replaced the garage door sweep. We were very impressed that he had the part with him which eliminated the need for a second trip. He worked until the job met his high standards. We are very happy with our experience from start to finish.
