I didn’t use this company, as i felt the tech was extremely dishonest with his pricing. I called with the intention of moving forward with a new motor install. When the tech arrived i was in the process of having junk removal and apologized to him for having to go back and forth. He said he understood and said the inspection would take a while so it was no rush. Once i was done with the junk removal he explained the issues with my garage motor. I said ya it’s old in agreement with him. He went on and said everything needs replacement and quoted me , I asked if he made those number up or were they company generated; his reply was the iPad and calculator gives me the numbers. I told him that his estimate didn’t sound right as I’ve done this in the past with a whole new system. He says well that’s as good as he can do. And offered a 5% discount laughable, what’s even more funny was the new motor wasn’t top of the line it was a base model liftmaster at $900 he tried to upsell me by saying that it’s a “pro” install and year warranty Absolutely not! He was very rude and condescending, he continued to ramble on and on about home depot and Loews motors being “DIY” and not professional and will fail in a year or two! Sir you just tried to sell me a shitty motor $109 motor for $900 have a good damn day…maybe try more competitive pricing. Most women are not as dumb as they pretend to be. Do better!

The technician who came was very rude He tried to make me pay a service call fee and then when I refused to do so, he went ahead and pasted his sticker on a spot I didn’t approve. I asked him to please move it to another spot and he responded to me by saying “ we don’t play games” and I am here wondering what he means by that when I simply asked him to place his sticker on a more preferable spot.

I was referred to Precision from my neighbor who had their doors serviced by them. I am a big time DIYer, comfortable with doing most household repairs and maintenance like plumbing and electrical—including installing the openers on my garage. However, I leave repairs like roofing and garage doors to the pros. Prior to this appointment, the garage had not been serviced in the 12+ years I've lived here. To start, I was able to get a same-day appointment for the initial inspection, and they were able to perform all the work the same day. This was basically replacing/rebuilding everything but the doors. The technician, Bobby, was professional, personable, and super knowledgeable. Again, as an experienced DIY, I felt very comfortable with everything he mentioned and trusted his recommendation. He did a great job explaining what needed to be, and the causes for some of the issues I was having. His work was solid and I really appreciate how well he cleaned up the work site when he finished. As well, he advised me on the basic maintenance. I would also recommend him, personally, within this overall review. My doors open and close immeasurably more smoothly, quickly, and quietly. And the work performed fixed an issue with one of the openers resetting the travel limiter and not staying closed. I also feel my garage is a safer space. I hope this review helps.

Technician was terrific. Job was done well and in a timely fashion. However the payment process was unacceptable. I always like to use my USAA credit card for jobs like this. Due to an already known billing problem my card was denied. I don’t like inconveniences such as this. Especially when a reputable company such as yours should be able to resolve the matter. USAA card holders are largely represented in the Baltimore/DC metro. Many of whom are probably just as frustrated with a denied card. I hope this company fixes this irritating problem soon. So next time a better review shall be given from a person like me.

He explained the issues with my existing motor and indicated how he could fix the door. I contacted Precision when my old springs broke. I did my research first and learned that they do not cut corners and the cure could be expensive but appropriate. Good decision!
