I am extremely disappointed what occurred. When I called to make the appointment, I told them what type of door opener we had (Genie) and I was told they will work on that type. When the employee arrived, he said they did not work on that type. We still had to pay the service fee. I want my money refunded since I told them what type we had ahead of time.

Mike C showed up a little earlier than the scheduled appointment but he did call saying so. He identified the problem with the opener immediately and proceeded to fix it. He explained what he was doing and why and even tested the repair several times while explaining (and also testing) the safety features of the opener. Mike also gave some tips for maintenance. Quality service. Perfect.

In the world we live in today--there are many reasons to be skeptical of repair service people. This company I would give all 5 stars. Explain the situation to me and handle in a timely fashion---It was snowing outside and I was surprised to see them but they came. A+ service and courteous service people.

We had builder-installed garage doors for over 17 years and they just started acting up recently - the automatic opener would often not be able to close them. My Dad, my son, and I tried various things over several days with no success and finally we called a pro. Mike C. arrived a few hours after we called on a Friday morning. In an hour or so he had replaced the springs and rollers and the doors operate amazingly smoothly now. I'm writing this review a week later and they are still working great. Mike was very professional and easy to deal with. Overall we're very satisfied.

Mike called about a half hour before arriving well within the two hour window. He diagnosed the problem and did a rebuild and replaced the door opener. He was very courteous and did a great job. The door works so much better and quieter after the service. The only issue at all is the lock on the garage control box does not work to keep the remotes from opening the door.

He explained the repair options clearly and concisely, and then proceeded to do a solid and professional job fixing and maintaining our garage doors. We were very disappointed with the original information that was provided on the initial phone call for a summary price versus what we actually had to pay. We were told we would need to replace the torsion spring costing between 120 and $270 minus the 45.00 service fee. Our technician was knowledgeable and was very thorough as he told us we needed to torsion springs and some other parts. He actually wanted to complete additional service work than we could afford. We ended up spending $600 just disappointed that we were told one figure paid another price. We were also told that the torsion springs had a lifetime warranty very disappointed to find out that that was not the case at all. We would ask that whoever answers the phones should know the right information to provide to customers

We replaced 4 pulleys and wire on 2 doors. Installer was capable and arrived on time and did a good job. Parts included labor and the job was extremely expensive considering the pulleys cost $4.95 at Home Depot but I was charged more than $50 for each plus the cost of the service call... the total price was more than $437.00 so was considered very expensive.

I chose Precision door after searching on the internet. I scheduled the first weekend appointment available. The technician came to my house and then said he couldn't repair it because it wasn't a liftmaster. I went back and looked at the website and it said that they repaired ALL major brands including the brand of my opener. After calling the person at the center said they should be able to service all brands. She contacted the technician who said they could not repair it because of the brand. The technician never even looked at the brand which is expressly listed on the website as one that they do not repair. The technician lied, the company wasted my time and my garage door is not repaired.
