We found Precision online and were pleased they could send someone one day after our garage door broke. The spring on our door broke after only 2.5 years but it was not very good quality and there was only one spring on a two car garage door. The technician, Mike, arrived early, quickly assessed the problem, and after discussing costs and options, installed two new springs in less than 45 minutes. I had the torsion spring repaired on the door. The technician explained everything and did a good job. However I feel the cost was higher than it should be. I've never dealt with a company before that doesn't waive the service fee if the repairs are made. I needed two springs. The total costs was over $500 (including service charge, tax, parts). I feel that it was excessive. Unfortunately it's not easy to get an estimate before they come to your house. I would be thrilled if I hear back from the owner. They have my email address.

Precision could not find the paper work from previous vists,the work at least half of it,may have been under warranty . I had two springs replaced,one broken,one in new condition ,I wonder why that one needed to be replaced,or even if it was replaced.Ihave lost the confidence in Precision that had been built up through having Derrick as my tech in the past.

I was very disappointed with your company. I gave the information about our garage door opener (model,style, etc)over the phone and was scheduled for the service call. I was told that the technicians had the parts for that brand on their truck and in most cases they try to repair instead of having to replace. My technician didn't even attempt to fix our "old model" because the techs do NOT carry parts to that model on their trucks and in fact they don't even MAKE replacement parts for it anymore! $50 to tell me something that should have been communicated over the phone. Very disappointed at the lack of integrity and communication. I am fine with needing a new opener (not surprised) but the tech literally walked in 2 seconds and told me this info that should have been told over the phone. I could have THEN decided if I wanted them to come out and see if something else was wrong!

I am extremely disappointed what occurred. When I called to make the appointment, I told them what type of door opener we had (Genie) and I was told they will work on that type. When the employee arrived, he said they did not work on that type. We still had to pay the service fee. I want my money refunded since I told them what type we had ahead of time.

Mike C showed up a little earlier than the scheduled appointment but he did call saying so. He identified the problem with the opener immediately and proceeded to fix it. He explained what he was doing and why and even tested the repair several times while explaining (and also testing) the safety features of the opener. Mike also gave some tips for maintenance.
