So glad I chose Precision. After reading reviews and having Barry come out earlier than expected (after he called of course) I am happy with the results. Barry took the time to explain why he chose the springs he recommended, (which were more expensive than i expected--Haley said the prices were 140-240--mine were 250...each) The springs were powder coated, rated for 85k cycles, and he put one original strength and one extra strength spring in -- based on his experience. He also found bearings going bad as well. I'm a DIY guy, and Barry explained the what and why's of everything he did. He also explained the maintenance I can do to help extend the life of the system. You guys are great!

Awesome, awesome service, the serviceman Barry was polite, friendly, and knowledge. He explained what needed to be done and how it was going to be done. I was impressed with the way he finished the repair in a timely fashion. I also felt the for the parts and services rendered the price paid was fair. Overall I'm throughly satisfied with the repair and my wife doesn't have to worry about parking in the driveway any longer! Would definitely recommend you guys!!! Once again thanks!!!

Its not very often that I get to say I was very impressed with a repair contractor but I certainly was. Barry was right on time (called 30 minutes ahead to let us know he was on his way), he was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable and got the job done quickly and flawlessly. The garage door has never worked better! I think I can safely say this is the best service I have ever had from a contractor. $440 (including parts) was not exactly cheap to replace the springs on a double garage door (changed from single spring to double spring system and replaced bearing) but I think it was worth it to get the job done properly. Thanks!

My family recently purchased 2 garage doors and one garage door opener, for the left garage door. We are thoroughly pleased. It's refreshing to witness the "quiet hum" of the doors opening and closing. Recently, we experienced difficulties opening and closing the left garage door. The door functions properly when using the control button on the wall inside the garage. However, the left door rarely functions properly when using the remote. Technician Brian diagnosed the malfunction quickly and resolved the issue. I would like to take this opportunity to applaud the efforts and professionalism of Brian. His rapid response and his ability to solve the problem speaks volumes for Brian and your organization.

Garage door was slow to open and squeaky: Barry was prompt, polite, and efficient. He explained what he was going to do and then after completed explained to me again what he had done. He also made a suggestion to have a once-a-year service on the door just to be sure all was still well. In and out within half an hour!

The torsion spring on my garage door broke on a Sunday morning. I did some searching online and found Precision -- I was impressed that the majority of the reviews were positive, and that for every negative (1 star) review -- somebody had tried to respond to the person who complained. I called on Sunday and had an appointment set up for Monday morning. Barry called us about 25 minutes before he arrived to let us know he was on his way. He clearly explained the options to repair the door and how much everything would cost. He was polite, professional, and had the door working within an hour. He did not have the parts to fix the outside handle, but we expect that he will contact us within a day or two to get that fixed -- and in the meantime, at least the door works again!

As I left for work I found the garage door wouldn't open. I had used the garage door earlier that morning, but this time it would only open a couple inches then stopped. I called Precision based on a coworkers recommendation and was able to get a same day appointment. Was charged $510 for a torsion spring replacement and center bearing. This was after supplying the $15 online coupon. Friend at work had same job done for under $200. You look on line on ask.com and they say same thing. Parts $30 each plus $65 labor. Not sure where the other $300 came from since he was only here 45 minutes to do the job.

The advertising for Precision is one of the most professional I've seen. Beyond that, the technician, Barry, was a 10+, according to my husband. The spring in the door broke and it fell at 8:30 Friday night. It was back up and functional by 10:00 Saturday morning. Barry called first, was on-time, thorough and helpful. This was 5-star service all the way! The bios with the pics is definitely a plus.

I'm upset that I had to pay a service call fee for you to replace the springs on my garage door. The springs had been replace and was still under warrant. This does not make any sense. I understand about paying for the labor for the installation of the springs but not for a services call for warrant work.

Gentleman arrived within window, called ahead. Gave estimate beforehand and garaged works great. Always wondered if reviews on site were accurate and I can tell you they are. Had a different company come out a month ago (because we have a home warranty which we found doesn't cover what was wrong) and prior company told us we need new door and everything else. Not true and we had excellent service. Didn't catch the service mans name but he did a great job.

The way things should be. Tech called before coming and arrived early. He quickly assessed the repair, provided a cost quote, worked with available discounts, explained the work, completed the work and explained required preventive maintenance. Recently my garage door began to act up, and I became somewhat alarmed. I was fit in on the schedule early the next day, and Derrick came to work on the door. He did a full inspection, discussed what needed to be done along with providing me costs on each of the options. After I chose the option, he was finished within an hour. Since my garage is not attached to my home and since I have mobility problems, Derrick showed his concern for my having to remain outside with him, suggested that I return to my home, and informed me he would call me when he was done, which he did. The door now moves smoothly from one position to another quietly. Derrick also took the time to explain several things about the garage and the opener that I did not know. Good experience.
