I called and was able to get an appointment the same day. I was provided with an arrival time window and Mike was there during the appointed time. We found Precision online and were pleased they could send someone one day after our garage door broke. The spring on our door broke after only 2.5 years but it was not very good quality and there was only one spring on a two car garage door. The technician, Mike, arrived early, quickly assessed the problem, and after discussing costs and options, installed two new springs in less than 45 minutes. Mike E was awesome. I called early in the A.M. and he came out the same day, Dec 23rd at that. Fixed it fast, reasonably priced and showed me where to lubricate the mechanism in the future. Alan arrived and I was a little skeptical since he was quiet and seemed indifferent. He immediately diagnosed the problem and recommended a conversion bar change. I agreed. I am the father of Paul Balassa and called your company. Although I waited what I thought was longer than usual for the technician to arrive I can understand why. I purchased a 25 point inspection service for both of my garage doors via a AAA Member Deal. It was easy to call and schedule the appointment, and the technician arrived on-time. He was friendly, personable, knowledgable and professional. He performed the inspection, describing items of note and recommendations as he went. He completed the inspection, replaced the wheels on the side of each door and lubricated them. MUCH quieter now. Overall very happy with the entire experience. Thanks!

I am extremely pleased with Precision's customer service and workmanship! I have been using Precision for replacement and servicing my three garage doors for years. You. I usually receive next day service, their prices are reasonable, they come during the 2 hour time frame they offer, and they stand behind the products they sell and give a very good warranty. I recently had a problem with a garage opener they installed and they have replaced the defective part for free. Derrick is the best technician. He is very knowledgeable, highly trained, and trustworthy. I highly recommend Precision and Derrick!

There needed to be additional work done before correct installation could be completed. I chose Precision because it was closer & appeared to be more reasonable than other companies. They were also able to fix a same day appt. Bill was very professional & knowlegdeable. My garage repair was completed very quickly. My only issue is that the cust serv reps & tech need to be clear on the pricing after the service fee has been charged.

I purchased The 21 point tune-up on Angie's list. I left my gym training session early to be here at 8 since i was told I was the first appointment. Your tech arrived at 1045 and spent 15 minutes on my door. At the Angie's list price of $125, I guess that means your service is worth $500 an hour. For the first time in my life, I didn't tip. I surely didn't get my $$ worth on this one.

We apologize for your inconvenience. We try hard to stay within our two hour window, but sometimes traffic becomes an issue. Your technician performed a 25 point safety check and lubed your door, along with replacing the rollers. He is an expert in this field and performs this jobs many times a day. We do not apologize for our rapid response to getting work done, we just make sure it is done correctly.

I wanted to submit my review for the work done on my garage door to fix a broken torsion spring. When I scheduled the appointment I was given the window of 1:00-3:00 PM for arrival time. Derrick called me at about 12:30ish to let me know he would be there in about 20 minutes, so he was there at my home a few minutes BEFORE the time-frame I was given. To me this was great. I'm a busy guy and it was a nice touch that he got there when he did because I had an event scheduled for later that afternoon, but I really wanted to have the door fixed. In no time Derrick assessed the problem and gave me an estimate for the parts and service he was going to provide, and even gave me the option to upgrade to a 2-spring setup. (I declined and stayed with a 1-spring setup.) Once we had decided on the repair option, Derrick immediately got busy, had the repair done in no time, was extremely polite and friendly answering any question I had, and in general made it a very pleasant experience. Not only did he replace the broken torsion spring but he also trued up my garage door tracks, lubricated all the points that needed to be lubricated, and in general tuned up the door so that now it runs smoothly, and it's less than half as loud as it was previously. Something I'd like to address that was mentioned negatively in another review was the price of the parts and service. The spring that went in is rated between 30 and 50 thousand cycles, which replaced the original 10,000 cycle spring, so they used quality parts to fix my door. In addition to that, Derrick clearly knows exactly what he's doing - I believe that when someone develops knowledge and skill related to a task that those skills and knowledge are worth something. I had no qualms paying what I did for the parts or labor, and I will recommend Precision Garage Door of Baltimore to anyone I know who needs a repair on their garage door. Thanks Derrick for hooking me up! Service was quick, professional, and it took a load off of my mind knowing that the door was repaired correctly with parts that are warrantied, and will last for years and years to come.

Okay, so the first impression was they are not going to accept any coupons! Thanks to Mike E. he was professional and made the right call to check with the office on the coupon thing because it was verified by the office that the coupon was good.
