Thank you for fixing my garage door opener. But the price for the part replaced was too expensive. The price for "GEAR & SPROCKET ( CHAIN )" was $250. But I can find the same thing at $19 on Amazon. I understand it is usually higher than the regular price and maybe it includes your labor charge. But that's still too much...

Barry was the service tech that came to assess my door problem (broken torsion spring) on Friday and ordered the part that came in quickly and was installed Monday by Sherman who showed up in the snow and ice (wasn't expecting that and would understand if he hadn't) but he came in and got the job done quickly!! Both Barry and Sherman are great guys professional and courteous! And not to forget the receptionist (I think a lot of people do) that gets the job started!! Thank you. THANKS TO ALL! I called Precision on a Friday and had an appointment set for Saturday 12:00-3:45. The Tech. called at 11:00 and asked if he could come over early. He showed up at 11:30 and looked at the garage door and gave me a price to replace both springs on the garage door. I knew that the price was going to be high because of reading the other reviews. I like the fact that the Tech was very nice and did not try and sell me other parts but just the parts that were broken. He was fast and got the job done in 20 mins. I don't mine paying more when you get service like this. I will use them again.

I first came into contact with Precision Door 2 years ago through Home Advisor.com when I needed to replace parts of my garage door. They did a great job on the installation and are always available within a short period of time to fix anything that goes bad. They do great work and their employees are very nice and helpful. This time I had a door that didn't want to come down right. It was fixed within a very short period of time.
