Called on a friday to ask for someone to replace broken torsion spring on our garage door. made appointment for the next day, saturday afternoon. Mike , the tech. called in late morning to ask if he could come earlier and after giving the ok, he arrived about 10 o'clock and was finished by 11. He was very pleasant and professional, I would call them again next time my garage door needs service.

Convenience method of making the appointment in the evening the same day our garage door broke. Very courteous and friendly representative and informative website with appointment reminder sent via email. Mike C was our technician who came on time and was very knowledgeable. Fixed my garage spring quickly and suggested how the garage door can be maintained. The technician was very personable and offered reasonably priced services. I’d recommend Precision for any garage door needs.

The tracks on my garage door were accidentally bent on one side causing my garage door to literally roll off the tracks. (Side note.... don't try fixing an overhead door yourself.... its more complicated than you can imagine.) At 5 pm I called and was scheduled for the next morning service. Derrick and his assistant came out. Instantly, Derrick took charge. An outstanding quality! I could tell he had 12 years of experience in Overhead repair and customer service. He communicated what needed to be done and went to work. At each point of the process, he communicated what he was doing and assured me my garage was going to be back to normal. The truth is.... he put it back better than normal. He tightened a few cable wires and now the garage rolls up better than it did before. Derrick Thank you! Barry and his partner were efficient and friendly. On installation day, Barry called twice to give me a narrower arrival window and then an estimated arrival time as he drew closer. They solicited my opinion on placement of switches and lights, walked me through testing all the equipment, and cleaned up after themselves.

My technician was Barry and he did a great job. I don't know much about the technical aspects of my garage door and he made a point to explain how each part works and what maintenance I should do. He was pretty quick to complete the repair and made sure to review everything he did. Barry was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and understands what good customer service is, and he even finished sweeping out my garage for me. I highly recommend.

Was charged $510 for a torsion spring replacement and center bearing. This was after supplying the $15 online coupon. Friend at work had same job done for under $200. You look on line on ask.com and they say same thing. Parts $30 each plus $65 labor. Not sure where the other $300 came from since he was only here 45 minutes to do the job.

First let me start by saying Barry is a fantastic technician! Our garage door has the over the top torsion spring, and when it broke I did not feel comfortable repairing it myself. I called Precision on a Tuesday, expecting to have to wait a few days for a repair, yet they were available as early as next day for a regular non emergency repair! It surprised me as I had made myself free only on that Saturday but good to know they are easily available. Barry came out Saturday and instantly knew what he needed to do and what needed replacing in addition to our spring. I highly recommend Precision! Thanks again Barry!

1 star rating. I contacted your company through the chat room and asked about repairing a garage door opener. Your representative asked what the issue was with the door and what model opener. I informed the representative of the issue and told them the garage door opener was a Genie H2000C. The representative said she could have a repairman at my home the next day. When the repairman arrived it took him one minute to tell me your company does not carry parts for Geneie models. My questions is why would you send a repair man out to fix a model that you do not carry part for? Basically I paid $50.00 for a repairman to tell me he can't service my opener. Meeting was scheduled for 2-4pm Saturday but the call saying your representative would be late came after 5pm and I was unable to attend a memorial service that afternoon for an old friend The price for what I needed was significantly higher than one quoted to me by a company that scheduled an appointment at 11am that morning. The representative arrived on time, determined what was needed and said installation could be done on Monday. My decision to go with the first quote was simple

The advertising for Precision is one of the most professional I've seen. Beyond that, the technician, Barry, was a 10+, according to my husband. The spring in the door broke and it fell at 8:30 Friday night. It was back up and functional by 10:00 Saturday morning. Barry called first, was on-time, thorough and helpful. This was 5-star service all the way! The bios with the pics is definitely a plus.

The garage door wouldn't close so I called Precision Garage Door Service. I needed the garage door fixed because it has been extremely cold and snow was forecasted the next day. I made the appointment on Friday afternoon and the technician was supposed to be here between 8:00 and 12:00. Garry arrived at 9:00 and quickly diagnosed the problem with the garage door. He called me to explain the problem and I authorized him to replace the springs. The job was done quickly and I am amazed at how quietly the door closes now. I would highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service. I was happy to be able to get an appointment so fast and have the door repaired the next day.

I would actually make this 4.5 stars if I could. I called, very last-minute after another garage door repair company canceled on me, late on a day when the weather was particularly brutal and still managed to get someone from Precision to come over and fix our garage that very evening. The work seems to be holding up, and the technician was very pleasant. I am subtracting 1/2 a star because he brought the ladder through our house and took a chunk out of the trim around our dining room entrance (which I now have to sand and repaint) and also because the price seemed a bit high compared to what our research had us expecting. Overall, however, we were grateful for the emergency visit, the work seems well-done, and both the receptionist answering the phones and technician doing the work were very pleasant to work with.

Our increasingly erratic garage door finally refused to open. Garry's diagnosis was not that the opener had failed, as we thought, but was due to the incorrect size springs that had been put there by another garage door company. Everything now works so much better than it ever has.

Precision installed two new garage doors and two new garage door openers on our home. The new garage doors look very nice and are in a carriage house style with supporting hardware. They are very quiet and smooth when opening and have motion sensors to turn on the lighting. We are very happy with the service, they came on time and overall the job took about 5 hours. The technician clearly knew what he was doing and took quite a bit of time to explain all the features and how to use them.
