Our 35-YO garage door needed spring replacements. My husband was able to call, on Sunday (!), to arrange an appointment for Monday morning. Jay came on time, took a look at the door and made several suggestions of possible additional repairs/replacements due to the age of the door and its components. Since we've only had the springs replaced since the door was initially installed, I took Jay up on the most logical suggestion for this visit. BTW--Jay did not pressure me to make any decision or commitment. I appreciated the way he explained things to me. "If I talked to my mom, I would say..." Kudos to Jay for a job well done!

I happened to luck into finding Precision Garage Door Service and boy it was GREAT luck. The service technician, Tito, was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He performed the 25 point inspection on both garage doors and fixed the issues with the door I hit with my car. Both doors are running better than when installed! Thank you Tito!

Just moved back into the area and my new (older) house garage door was in need. I immediately contacted Precision because I’ve depended on them for over 30 years in two previous homes. Chris was fantastic. I already had a sense of what the door needed. He thoroughly evaluated the door and motor. Set the limit switches, adjusted the springs, replaced cracked hinges and replaced the rollers installed in the dark ages. And he put on a new bottom seal. All this while it’s snowing! Every Precision tech I’ve ever had has been fantastic. Plus, the price fell in line with my expectations. Can’t recommend you enough! The tuneup is just what I needed. Thanks!

I was impressed by the (same day service, completely stocked trucks.) I had already purchased two new Genie openers and when we opened the box I noticed the rail & belt were not as heavy duty as I expected they would be. Our garage door broke off the wall jamming our garage door and bending lots of the metal frame . Precision is open 24/7and took my call on a Sunday night . They were at our house 8 am the next morning , evaluate and did the entire job in 3 hours .. Charles was great and respectful of us and our home. He did a great job putting things together , and in a way he recommended that we shouldn’t have any trouble with the door . Thank you Precision !!

My original complaint was I had a broken spring on my one car garage door. I previously had the same issue 10 years ago for the repair price of $250 which seemed fair. This time around the technician Charles told me I needed not only the spring but end bearings and new cables. The price for this repair shot up to $735. He then tried to sell me 10 sealed nylon rollers for$20 a piece. When I declined he offered to knock off $75. i still declined. i agreed to the spring, bearings & cable because I was leaving that day on vacation & needed to get it fixed before I left. The work took them less than an hour. Charles the tech then attempted to open & close the door but the motor only buzzed and did not move the door. Charles then said I needed a new motor which by this time I was pretty sure this guy was a scammer so I declined and signed off on his spring work happy to get them out of my garage. 5 minutes after they left I removed the belt from the motor & tested it where it worked perfectly. The only problem had been the door carrier had gotten jammed on a bolt when the spring broke. Pretty sure a honest garage door technician would know how to troubleshoot this in 2 minutes. This company appears to try to sell you a bunch of things you don't need and charge you 3 times the price. I will not use these guys ever again.
