I want to thank Precision Garage Doors for their speedy service (same day on a weekend) and the excellent job Jamal did. He gave us recommendations for both repair of our existing issues compared with replacement with a new system, went over the pros and cons given the age of our original components and did the repairs in record time. When closing the garage door this morning as we left to run a few errands, I noticed our 7x16 cedar clad garage door did not close properly. After inspecting te mechanism I noticed the cable ad snapped preventing the heavy door from closing evenly. I called Precision and was greeted warmly, treated with concern and promptly scheduled for a service call within two hours. A Precision technician (Christopher Brown) arrived within the specified time, identified himself and after listening to me explain the problem, performed a 25 point assessment, identified/confirmed the problem, explained the issue and other potential areas that might need attention, provided me a comprehensive estimate and after my approval proceeded to replace the defective parts. Chris was professional, friendly and focused on the task at hand. As a forwarding facing representative of the company, this young man projected a positive can-do attitude, determined to complete the task and to exceed the customers expectation. When the refurbishing of the various garage door components was completed, Christopher explained what he had done, why and pointed out items replaced. The garage door was in need of attention and now operates quietly. rolling smoother with less strain on the motor and closing in a controlled manner. Sometimes you're lucky enough to find a company and a technician that values customer service and places a premium on the quality of the work performed - this was one of those moments and definitely one of those companies. The entire process was really wonderful. Scott, in scheduling, was very courteous & kind. Austin, the repair technician, was informative and helpful. They both are good people. When I called to schedule the work at 1PM on Saturday, January 11th, I was informed a tech would be out between 3-7 PM. Austin arrived around 5 & was finished installing the new springs & cables by 6:30. He even replaced 2 screws that were missing. I highly recommend Precision to help you with your garage door needs. Our tech was Tito Cruz. He arrived on time for the appointment. He assessed the problem with our garage door. He gave us three options for the repair and explained very clearly the difference between each option. We chose an option and Tito had the repair done within an hour. After making the repair he explained how to lubricate our door to keep it in good condition. He was very personable and knew what he was doing. Our door works great. I called at 11 am and was given a same day appointment between 1&3 pm. Then at 11:30 I was called by my technician Tavon. He was 20 minutes out if that worked for me, which it did. Technician Fred Parsons arrived on schedule for our appointment to discuss a new garage door. He was super friendly and showed us multiple types of doors with panel samples. After showing us the various types of windows we could have in our door we selected one and he was helpful in working an estimate up for us. Although the price is a bit of a shock it is in line with other companies. He was super professional in every way and made our decision to go ahead easier.
