I made an appointment the day my garage door spring broke and was able to schedule a visit the next day. Chris Brown, the technician, show up, walked me through the estimate, and was very professional during the process. While more expensive than I anticipated, I was quite happy with the results.

The tension spring broke on our garage door. I went online, and Precision Garage Door was the first website to pop up. I was able to schedule the appt online for the following week. We chose Precision Garage doors because we have heard some good things about them. My wife worked across the street from your office in Arbutus and she everyone she had talked to was very friendly. They also helped her with the gate to her work. Chris Brown of Precision Garage Door Service more than met our expectations and solved our garage door problems completely!!! Both of my daughters have used Precision to repair garage doors in the past 2 years! So it was a no brainer who to contact. We could not be more pleased with how our garage door is working now that Tech Christopher Brown worked on repairing it. We sadly could not afford a whole new door and system but Christopher replaced springs, pulleys, cables and wheels and made fine tuned adjustments. Mr. Tito Cruz was excellent. He carefully explained each of the needed repairs and replacements. Very personable and professional. The repairs were done efficiently and in a timely manner. The repairs and replacements were more than just springs and rollers. He added two metal braces to the garage door itself and performed other needed repairs and replacements. The door now works like new!

For a $1,100 price tag on 30K cycle springs and bearing replacement on a 2 car garage, I was expecting at least a 5–10 year warranty on the springs instead of the 1 year warranty initially offered that was inched up to 2 years.Their weak point is not standing behind a product they claim will last longer.

Tito came out to inspect our broken garage door spring. He was on time (on a Sunday), professional, knowledgeable and very thorough and neat. Our home is almost 18 years old and the garage door opener itself was aging. Tito recommended that we replace the broken springs with a stronger material and also to replace the actual garage door opener itself since it was aging. He showed us frayed cables and other items that needed to be addressed probably sooner than later due to the age and wear of the components. Tito explained why each component was important. We felt for safety reasons it was time to address this garage door opener repair. We elected to replace the garage door opener and other worn out parts. We are very pleased with the result. It was a little pricey, but we believe that this is one item that quality and expert installation is paramount. We would recommend Tito and Precision Garage Door Service to anyone, even those that may be looking for a "simple" repair.
